This luxuriously smooth body cream combines a perfect dose of exfoliating lactic acid with just the right amount of moisturizing emollients and hydrating humectants to help combat dry, itchy and acne prone skin. Lactic Acid: While Glycolic Acid and Salicylic Acid seem to be everyone’s holy grail of chemical exfoliation, Lactic Acid is quickly earning a great reputation of its own due to the fact that it not only exfoliates, but also hydrates skin. Urea: Urea is a component of the natural moisturizing factor (NMF) produced by the skin. It is a humectant, which means it is able to absorb moisture from the environment and draw it to the skin. In addition, urea is also an emollient that softens and smooths the skin.
Mineral Oil: Mineral oil is an occlusive emollient, meaning that it helps to keep your skin hydrated by locking in moisture by forming a barrier on your skin's surface.
Glycerin: Glycerin is a humectant, meaning it’s draws water/moisture to your skin from the air around you. It also helps slow the evaporation of water from your skin, which is perfect for those with dry flaky skin, especially during winter months.
