It's gentle, plays well with other ingredients and is great at inhibiting UV-induced melanin synthesis by blocking the interaction between keratinocytes (skin cells) and melanocytes (melanin-producing cells).
Alpha Arbutin: Alpha arbutin is a powerful skin brightener that targets dark spots. It reduces melanin formation, improving the appearance of age spots, freckles, melasma, and post-inflammatory pigmentation.
Kojic Acid: Kojic Acid helps lighten visible sun damage and scars and it can also use an anti-aging active ingredient. It also has anti-bacterial and anti-fungal properties, which is great news for people with problematic skin.
